About Me
- Glenice
- I am a late-deafened adult, having lost my hearing gradually over a period of approximately 30 years. Over that time, I adjusted by learning to lip-read. Eventually I wore hearing aids and finally I got a cochlear implant in 2001 for my left ear. Six years later I chose to have my right ear implanted with a cochlear implant from the same company, Advanced Bionics, to hear bilaterally again. It has been a journey of highs and lows and well worth the trip.

gorgeous pictures. such a heavy frost. You really do get winter there. Is the bridge near your house??
It is about a mile from our house. We have a small lake in town and that bridge goes to a small island in the lake. There is also a walking path and park.
I'm looking forward to going back in the spring, summer and fall and taking seasonal pictures of the same bridge.
IT reminds me of Monet's bridge at Giverny. I'm looking forward to seeing the spring photos

I looked at the slideshow again and didn't realize I had so many pictures of that little bridge. It is so easy to take too many with digital when you don't have to think about development of film.
Like a picture you'd get on a Christmas card :)
